Case Study 1
Completed: 30/06/2007
Client: The John Lyon School Harrow
Category: Exterior Signs
During the wintry weather of 2006 all of the school signs blew over. One of the main concerns was to make sure the new signage would remain intact for many many years to come. Contrast Signs proposed to use aluminium powder coated tray signs and panels that would endure the elements.
Working with the school governors and the school bursar, a sign plan was drawn up to show the proposed location for each sign, materials to use, costings, content and design. The main sign shape was produced to allow enough space for the school crest and an area for notices, etc.
There was plenty of time to produce three of the main signs, a reception sign, two of the sports fields signs and many directional signs installed around the buildings and the sports fields. Installation by ourselves during the 2007 school summer holidays went to schedule.
The photo gallery shows the new installations and the effects of previous wear and tear.

"The school signs were produced and installed efficiently and professionally. We now display our school corporate image on all of the signage and the pupils, staff and visitors can find their way around the school buildings easily."
